The E-M24DVR is a compact one channel digital video recorder featuring high quality MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 video and audio recording. It is capable of

providing real-time 25fps broadcast quality video upto 10Mbps in video bit rate quality and features an ARM9 processor and linux operating system. Designed

for rugged vehicle or body-worn applications, the unit is fully solid-state and records to a removable compact ﬂ ash card. Video encoding is done through

MPEG-4/2 video hardware encoding and a vibration/alarm circuit is able to provide feedback to the user.

AUDIO

The E-M24DVR features an integrated audio microphone. Users can also disable this and connect either a line-input audio source or an external microphone.

Various gain settings can be adjusted to suit the audio quality.

DVR CONTROL & OSD

Various methods can be used for controlling the unit, these include an IR remote control, a one-action record button and LAN-C remote control. The OSD menu

allows full control of the DVR. Another OSD function is that of video overlay. Users can customise the video overlay onto the video through the software

interface and add comments or labels for video recordings.
